The Prolific Blogger and Bliss (Happy 101) Awards!

Yesterday was a double award day and I am so honored to have received these great shoutouts!

From Laura at Library of Clean Reads I received The Prolific Blogger Award. It’s a true honor to receive this award, since we all work incredibly hard on our sites, and it’s always nice to be appreciated. This award was started by Hazra at Advance Booking for “all those prolific bloggers, who read voraciously, blog tirelessly and have made the blogging community such a vibrant place. This award is in recognition of their achievements and their enthusiasm. They are the people who keep me going!” I hear that! The rules are a bit long, but they can be found here. I chose seven very prolific bloggers of my own to pass this on to. They are:

Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea, Katy at A Few More Pages, Kristen at BookNAround, Marie at The Boston Bibliophile, Clover at Fluttering Butterflies, Amy at Just Book Reading, and Alita Reads.

Award number two comes from Cassandra at Books Are Critical. She awarded me the Bliss (Happy 101) Award. This one involves me listing ten things that make me happy, and then passing it on to ten other bloggers.

Ten things that make me smile (in no particular order):

  1. 1) Desserts
  2. 2) Books (but that was really a given)
  3. 3) My hubby’s jokes
  4. 4) My dog, Mimi. She’s old and crazy.
  5. 5) Pictures of my nephew
  6. 6) Shows on the CW. I know, I’m 27, but I’m not ashamed to admit that nothing makes a workout go by faster than an episode of The Vampire Diaries. Plus One Tree Hill has THE best music ever.
  7. 7) Regina Pizzeria’s veggie pizza. Amazing.
  8. 8) A good night with friends and good wine.
  9. A good night with family and good cheese.
  10. Working on my blog. Talking, writing, discussing all things bookish.

And ten people I pass this on to are: Mary at Bookfan, Wendy at Caribou’s Mom, Marie at The Burton Review, Karoline at Okbo Lover, Jennifer at Reading With Tequila, Caitlin at Chaotic Compendiums, Stephanie’s Written Word, Jenny at Take Me Away, and Jennifer at The Introverted Reader, and Andi at Estella’s Revenge.

All of these blogs are fabulous and I recommend you visit each of them! Cheers!

  2. I’m in my late 30′s and LOVE the Vampire Diaries!! :)

  3. I’m 27 too and am not ashamed to watch the CW too! I still watch America’s Next Top Model even though it’s not as good as it used to be. The new Vampire Diaries eps start back up on March 25. When I go to the gym in the morning, ANGEL is on so that definitely helps at 6am. :)
