That’s right, it’s Mailbox Monday again. I’ve been on a roll lately with the bookish deliveries. Let’s not quit now, folks!
Last week I received the GoodReads ARC of Black Rain by Graham Brown (Random House). It’s being released in January and it’s about conspiracies and legendary lost cities and the Amazon. It looks like the perfect adventure book to curl up with during Thanksgiving break.
I also received an adorable looking/sounding book entitled Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand (Random House) by Helen Simonson. See? Isn’t that title simply spectacular? I entered for a chance to get this one from Shelf Awareness and when it came in the mail I didn’t know what it was at first, but squealed when I opened it. This one is released in March, but I’ll post my review (sans spoilers) as soon as I finish reading it, don’t you worry.
