Wee! This is the first time I actually get to post a Mailbox Monday, as opposed to searching other blogs being jealous that people got books in the mail over the weekend, when all I got was junk mail or duplicate copies of the Victoria’s Secret catalogue. I am ever-so-holy-cow-excited to report that Hachette Book Group sent me an advanced readers copy of The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova. I absolutely loved her first novel, The Historian, and can’t wait to dive right in to this one. It’s about a psychiatrist whose patient has a secret that must be revealed and so our protaganist ends up traveling to Normandy, and there is obsession and art and hopefully lots of nail-biting suspense like her first book. Stay tuned for the review!

Lucky you! I’ve been wondering when she might have a new book out. The Historian was quite a read. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on this one.
Wow! Have fun reading my friend. I’ve never read anything by Kostova but I would want to know what you think of this book.
And the cover is very lovely.
Happy reading!
This sounds excellent, I read The Historian and loved it, hope this one is as good!
